Critical Injuries for Man Pulled from Water After Single Car Crash in Prince George County

Late in May, a motorist traveling along Interstate 495 in Prince George's County was involved in an incident that left them in a life-threatening situation. According to early reports from the Prince George's County Fire Rescue, the incident happened on Sunday, May 27th, as many people were either traveling to or returning from their memorial day celebrations. It is believed that the person in the car was a solo motorist and that there were no other people inside of the vehicle at the time of the incident.

Teen Dies in Crash on Prince William Parkway

Officers working with the Prince William County Police Department responded with paramedics throughout the same area to reports of an early morning crash along Prince William Parkway on Wednesday. Reports from the Prince William County Police Department indicate that the accident happened close to 1:15 in the morning and involved a single vehicle and its driver. An investigation is currently underway to determine just what happened to cause the crash and its subsequent fatality.

Fatal Early Morning Crash in Loudoun County

A single car accident this past Sunday morning resulted in paramedics and officers with the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office rushing to the scene in order to tend to the injuries suffered by at least one person. Official reports from the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office indicate that the incident happened along Berlin Turnpike, early in the morning, although the reports are fairly scantly fleshed out beyond these details.

Driver Suffers Minor Injuries in Fairfax County Crash

On Wednesday, May 16th, an incident took place along Georgetown Pike in Great Falls resulted in massive lane closures and disrupted the evening commute for many individuals attempting to return home after a long day of work. While the reports from the Fairfax County Police Department are surprisingly lacking in detail given the vast number of people affected by the incident, we do know some of the more pertinent details.

Haymarket Man Killed in Memorial Day Weekend ATV Crash

The weekend of Memorial Day is a time for people to take a break from their standard weekend activities and enjoy a vacation or do something unexpected. Much of the normal pursuits of people over the course of the three days involve being outdoors: fishing, hiking, camping, kayaking, etc. An extremely popular form of enjoying the outdoors also comes in the form of motorized off-road vehicles. This includes things like riding dirt bikes and ATVs. On Saturday night, a Haymarket man in Prince William County was doing just this when he was involved in an accident that cost him his life.

Minor Injuries After Collision in Vienna

A person in Vienna suffered from minor injuries after a two car crash along Follin Lane and Hine Street on Wednesday, May 23rd. Police with the Vienna Police Department issued a brief statement regarding the incident in their weekly roundup of news points for the press and interested civilians. While the report failed to include much detailed information regarding the crash, it does provide us with the barebones of an outline with which to understand the basic elements of what took place.

Illegal U-Turn Leads to Two Car Collision in Vienna

Police working within the Fairfax County city of Vienna responded to reports of an incident that took place on Monday, May 14th, inside Vienna, and involved two vehicles traveling along James Madison Drive and Maple Avenue. According to a piece of information written by the official police working within Vienna, the incident happened just after 4:00 in the afternoon in the eastern lanes of James Madison Drive.

Two Car Crash in Vienna Leads to Court Summons

A two car collision in Vienna on Saturday, May 12th, has resulted in one person being issued a summons for having failed to yield to another vehicle who possessed the right of way. A report from the Vienna Police Department working inside of Fairfax County indicates that the accident took place at 115 Park Street, shortly before 12:30 in the afternoon. Only two vehicles were involved in this lunch-hour collision, and the first was driving down the southern lanes of Park Street.

Fatal Collision With Tractor-Trailer in Sterling

Police working within Loudoun County are in the process of investigating an incident that led to the death of a 42-year-old man from Toledo, Ohio. Initial reports from the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office indicate that the accident took place inside of the city of Sterling, shortly before 9:00 in the morning on May 21st. While the majority of the facts relating to this particular case have yet to be released by the authorities in charge of the investigation, we do know many of the basic elements of the case.

Truck Crashes into Power Pole in Alexandria

Drivers attempting to pass through Old Town Alexandria using the 400 block of Duke Street on Thursday, May 17th, were forced to choose alternate routes after an incident occurred along this stretch of road that rendered it impassible and dangerous. Reports from the police as well as the Port City Wire indicated that the incident involved a large truck and a power pole, and that the collision between these two resulted in numerous downed power lines.
