Little has been released on two incident that resulted in DUI arrests in Fairfax County on March 29th and March 30th. What we know comes exclusively from two brief reports included in a weekly roundup of police stories issued by the Fairfax County Police Department (the law enforcement agency responsible for many of the cities and towns throughout Fairfax County, including Fairfax City). These reports provide very little information regarding the circumstances of the arrest, but they do give us the barebones outlines of what happened, when, and who it involved.

Uber, the popular ride-sharing app that has caused a controversial revolution in the ways we travel locally, has had its well-documented share of ups and downs over the past year-and-a-half. Alexandria Teens Arrested After Crashing Stolen Car

Late in January, two teenagers from Alexandria were in Prince William County when they decided to steal a car. The vehicle, a Honda Accord, was sitting in a driveway and the teenagers were able to enter the car, start it, and drive it away before the car's owner could do anything to try and deter them. The young people then drove the car all the way to Springfield, where they then made their way down Hopewell Avenue. When the reached the 6700 block of Hopewell Avenue, they either lost control of the Honda or decided to cause some chaos, with the result either way being that they crashed the Accord into several other cars which were parked on the side of the road.
